This guide walks you through setting minimum and maximum order levels for a library item in the Organiser Portal’s Library ▸ Inventory area so that ordering stays within limits and stock monitoring aligns with your policy. This guide is for staff who manage item availability. Before starting, ensure the item exists and you can access its details. You’ll open the Library area, go to Inventory, enter minimum and maximum values, optionally set default and threshold levels, and save. The result is an updated item with defined order limits.

Estimated time: 2–3 minutes.

Tip: prepare your numeric values in advance to avoid revisions.

Step-by-Step Quick Text Guide

- Open Library in the Organiser Portal.

- Go to the Inventory section.

- Enter Minimum Order and Maximum Order values.

- Optionally set Default Stock Level and Stock Level Threshold.

- Click Save to apply changes.

Common Mistakes & Fixes

- Minimum value greater than maximum → Ensure Minimum Order is less than or equal to Maximum Order.

- Using decimals or text → Enter whole numbers only.

- Forgetting to save → Always click Save after updating values to apply changes.
