This guide walks you through setting pricing rules for library items in a shop so that you can control promotions, volume pricing, audience pricing, and late fees. It is for shop managers with access to the Organiser Portal and a shop with items loaded from the Library. You need shop access, items visible in the list view, and the shop currency configured. You will select items, open the pricing rules area, add one or more rule categories, enter values, and save. The result is an applied rule set that schedules new prices or fees for those items.

Expect about 5–10 minutes.

Tip: Prepare a short list of items and confirm your intended date range before starting.

Step-by-Step Quick Text Guide

- Open Manage shops.

- Select items in the list view.

- Choose set pricing rule selection.

- Add Absolute Price.

- Add Percentage Discount.

- Add Progressive Tier.

- Add Customer Specific.

- Add Late Fee.

- Enter values and dates.

- Save the rule set.

Common Mistakes & Fixes

- No items selected → The rule area opens only after selecting item checkboxes. Select items first.

- Missing required values → Enter Price for Absolute Price or Discount (%) for discount-based categories.

- Missing Sub-Tier → Progressive Tier has no effect without at least one sub-tier.

- Dates out of plan → Verify Start and End dates to avoid unexpected activation or overlap.

- Unsaved changes → Click Save to apply rules to the selected items.
