Fill a Shop with Library Items

This tutorial explains how to fill a shop with library items in the Toddoo Organiser Portal. By linking library items to your shop collections, you make products available for sale or display within an event. You’ll open the Fill Shop section, select or create a collection, search and filter items, and move them to the shop. Ensure you have access to the Organiser Portal and the Product Library before starting. Once complete, your shop will display the selected items in their respective collections.

Tip: Prepare your collection structure before adding items to ensure a clear shop layout.



Step-by-Step Quick Guide

1. Open Manage shops from the main menu.

2. Open the shop you want to fill.

3. In the shop header, go to the Fill Shop section.

4. In the Shop area, create a new collection or select an existing one.

5. In the Product library, use Search to locate items or Filter by Collection, Supplier, or Type.

6. Select one or more library items to add. Selected tiles will be highlighted.

7. Click Move left to add the selected items to the current collection.

8. (Optional) Use the collection menu (three dots) for bundle-related actions if applicable.

9. Review the Shop area to confirm the items appear correctly. You can switch to List view for easier checking.



Common Mistakes & Fixes

No target collection selected → Select or create a collection before adding items.

No items selected → Highlight items in the Product library before choosing Move left.

Items missing from library → Added items are hidden from the Product library. Clear filters or switch collection to view others.

Cannot add to bundle → Finalised bundles cannot be edited. Create a new bundle or unfinalise it if allowed.



FAQ

Q: Can I add multiple items at once?

A: Yes. Select multiple items in the Product library and use Move left to add them all.


Q: Where do items go after adding them?

A: Items appear in the current collection shown in the Shop area.


Q: Why can’t I find an item after adding it?

A: Items already added to the collection are hidden in the Product library. Clear filters or switch collections to continue.


Q: How do I create a new collection?

A: Click New collection in the Shop area, name it, and confirm.


Q: Who can fill shops?

A: Users with Organiser Portal access and permission to manage shops.
