Add and / or Edit a Booking

This tutorial shows you how to add or edit a booking in the Organiser Portal so that it appears correctly in the booking overview and schedule. You’ll open the Bookings area, create or adjust a reservation, select options and add-ons, review the summary, and confirm. Make sure you have access to the Organiser Portal for the correct event before you start. Once finished, your booking will be saved and visible to other organisers or customers.



Step-by-Step Quick Guide

1. Open the Organiser Portal for your event.

2. In the left menu, select Bookings to open the overview.

3. Click Add booking to start a new reservation.

4. Fill in Your reference, select the Resource, and set the Date and Time range.

5. If booking for someone else, switch off Order for myself and select a Customer.

6. Click Next to choose Booking options (if available).

7. Click Next again to add any Add-ons you need.

8. Review the Booking summary, then click Confirm this booking now to save.

9. To edit a booking, open it from the overview, choose Edit booking, make your changes, and confirm again.



Common Mistakes & Fixes

Wrong section selected → Make sure you open Bookings in the left resource bar.

Missing required details → Always fill in Your reference, Resource, Date, and Time range.

Booking not visible → Refresh the overview after confirming the booking.

Incorrect times → Use valid start and end times within available hours.

Booking not confirmed → Click Confirm this booking now to complete the process.

Cannot find event → Check that you accessed the correct Organiser Portal route.

Editing not applied → Reconfirm after editing; the schedule updates automatically.

Q: Who can add or edit bookings?

A: Users with access to the Organiser Portal for the event.


Q: Which fields are mandatory?

A: Your reference, Resource, Date, and Time range are always required. If booking for someone else, you must also select a Customer.


Q: Can I modify a booking after it’s confirmed?
