On Friday 31 July 2026, between 06:00 and 09:00 (CEST), Toddoo will roll out a platform update that introduces Business Accounts: a new company-based structure that connects companies, their employees, invoice details, event portal access, and access requests in one clearer place.
The goal is simple: make exhibitor access easier to understand, easier to manage, and less dependent on manual support.
What is a Business Account?
A Toddoo Business Account is a shared company account inside Toddoo. It is not limited to one event or one organiser. It acts as the company's central account across the whole platform.
A Business Account can include:
Company staff and Business Account coordinators
Company information and fiscal identity
Invoice-related details
Portal teams and event access routes
Access requests and invitations for colleagues
Connections to organiser CRM records

Why we are making this change?
Until now, new users entered company details during sign-up and Toddoo matched them to a company automatically. Because those fields were often understood differently, for example an exhibitor display name instead of the legal company name, the matching process was not always reliable. This could lead to:
Duplicate company records for the same business
Incorrect or inconsistent company details
Users linked to the wrong company
Exhibitors unable to reach the right portal
Access problems that needed manual support
What changes for organisers?
Access becomes company-based: link a company in your CRM to its Business Account and invite the whole team in one step
Your existing CRM contact persons keep working as before
Exhibitors can request access themselves, instead of contacting Support
An improved Access Manager shows who has been invited, who is waiting, who has entered the portal, and why access may be missing
Cleaner CRM data through verification at every step and automatic duplicate detection

What changes for exhibitors?
The sign-up flow becomes clearer, with four options to choose from:
Create a Business Account
Join an existing Business Account
Join with an access code
Continue to the routes screen without joining or creating anything yet
Exhibitors can also join an event directly through its event URL, and anyone working with several companies can simply switch to the right Business Account after signing in.

What stays the same
This update does not remove organiser control over closed event access. Organisers still decide who can enter their exhibitor portals. What changes is that the process becomes clearer, more transparent, and easier to manage.
When does this happen?
The update is planned for Friday 31 July 2026, between 06:00 and 09:00 (CEST). No action is needed from you before the update.
