This tutorial explains how to add an item to a customer cart in the Toddoo CRM so that the customer can see and purchase it. You’ll open the CRM area, access the customer record, open the cart, and add an item line with visibility enabled. Ensure you have CRM access and that the correct event is selected before starting. Once completed, the new cart item will be visible to the customer in their cart.

Step-by-Step Quick Guide

1. Open the CRM area in the Organiser Portal.

2. Search and open the customer record.

3. Click the Cart icon in the CRM header to open the customer cart view.

4. Select Add cart line to open the line editor.

5. Choose the item to add and enter the Quantity.

6. Optionally add Description or SKU, and review Unit, VAT type, Supplier, Ledger account, or Currency.

7. Select the Event for this cart line (required).

8. Tick Visible in customer cart so the item appears to the customer.

9. Click Add to cart to create the line.

10. Verify that the new line appears with Quantity, Price, VAT Amount, and Subtotal.



Common Mistakes & Fixes

Cart icon opens but no items appear → Add a cart line first, then refresh the cart view.

Cannot save the line → Select an Event before saving; it’s required.

Item not visible to customer → Tick Visible in customer cart before saving.

Totals look wrong → Check Quantity, Options, and VAT type values.

Missing permissions → Ask your administrator for CRM cart edit access.

Customer cannot checkout → Ensure terms are accepted in the My Cart area before checkout.
